ALC (preliminary)

ALC (an acronym for AnaLogger Controller) is one of our top-of-the-line embedded control systems. It would take a stack of competitive boards to do what ALC can. It is an analog I/O-rich control system with extensive communications and datalogging capabilities, in addition to analog and digital control loops.

8 channels of 12-bit ADC and dual 12-bit DACs with precision reference and adjustable ranges. RS232 multidrop, RS485, CAN, Dallas iButton (MicroLan). Analog and digital I/O is all Opto-22 connector format. Designed for low power battery operation, will run for weeks on 6 C cells, 2 days on one 9V battery. SBX expansion connector. 512 KBytes DataFlash logging memory. Compiled BASIC support.
